Purpose of Position

The role of our kitchen employees is to prepare culinary delights for our guests and owners. Guest satisfaction in our restaurant and catering facility revolves around food appearance, high quality & overall dining experience. Duties include, but are not limited to; responsible for the daily preparation of food items in the pantry, fry stations and other areas of the kitchen, process and use food requisitions.

Prepare food items for customers using a quality predetermined method in a timely and consistent manner.

Set up station with predetermined mise en place to ensure everything will be ready for service within a timely manner. Proper breakdown of station following safety and sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications
Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills
Basic knowledge of food cost, safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
Previous prep or line cook experience
Must be able to work nights, weekends and some holidays
Must be able to speak, read and understand cooking instructions
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the needs of the operation as well as attend all required scheduled training sessions and meetings.
