Scratch kitchen serving upscale bar food with a twist, is searching for an Experienced Kitchen Manager. You must have 3 years experience managing a full service, SCRATCH restaurant kitchen with strong staff management skills. 5 years experience as a line cook is required. You should be efficient in all positions of a working kitchen, EXPO, grill, sauté, fry, and prep. Fast food restaurant experience will not be considered. A strong sense of urgency in all tasks is required, you must be an organized, self starter, capable of multi-tasking and performing well in a fast paced, high stress environment. The ability to delegate and control the staff as well as yourself and have a high level of productivity is essential. Attention to detail, high standards of service, cleanliness, quality of food, and presentation are also required. We are looking for someone who can manage themselves as well as a staff and a kitchen with little oversight. You must be currently Servesafe certified; if it is expired, please get it renewed before you apply. We are looking for a long term professional to grow with our restaurant; salary will grow as well for the right individual.
