FOH PM Dining Room Manager (PMDR)

Summary: This position will function as a representative of the Red Hat on the River management team. The PMDR must be willing and available to work a typical restaurant schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays. The PMDR will be working the floor, engaging with our guests, shift managing FOH employees, and be a lead communicator between the Kitchen, Front Desk, and Executive team. You must be proficient in the use of communication applications. You should be a good communicator. This position can lead to growth in terms of responsibility and financial earnings.

General Responsibilities:
• Food & Beverage service to guests - expected to set the proper tone, style, and efficiency to other team members.
• Exposure to Server, Bus, Bartender, and Front Desk roles will be part of PMDR training process so you will be able to lead these team members
• Shift leader in terms of opening or closing
• Shift leader in terms of monitoring side work and bar prep
• Key holder to be available to close the store
• Complete end of shift paperwork and money settling per company rules
• Working shift guest relations leader, including permissions to void/comp items on a guest check per company rules
• Working shift staff relations leader
• Expected to handle minor staff issues during shifts
• Expected to collaborate with management on major staff issues
• Maintain a leading role in all FOH service training
• Be a liason between kitchen and FOH staff during shifts
• Maintain a role in the process of interviewing and on boarding new staff.
• Communicate efficiently with Executive team via:
• Email
• Slack
• On-site interaction

Compensation:
• Earnings range $50,000 to $60,000
• Paid time off earned with time served
• Health Care available after three months time served

Schedule details:
• 35 - 45 hours per week
• 4-5 dinner shifts per week
• Potential for 1-2 lunch shifts per week
• Shifts and hours variation are due to the seasonality of our business
