Kitchen Manager

The Bend

State of Beer at The Bend is now open with a full kitchen and we need a great individual to help lead the kitchen team!

Your responsibilities would include but not limited to:

-Attending weekly meetings with the GM and Executive Team
-Working with and reporting to GM to ensure the kitchen is operating at its full potential
-Attendance at weekly meetings where we discuss item sales, menu ideas, parties & upcoming events and any restaurant
related issues.
-Keeping updated Par/Prep Sheets, and Ordering sheets.
-Fulfilling daily and weekly orders with vendors as needed, and helping to source the best ingredients for our menu
-Sourcing and Collaborating with Local Vendors and highlighting NC products as much as possible
-Scheduling based on sales and prep needs to be presented at the weekly meeting and posted by Thursday for the following
week
-Menu costing and analysis, with a goal of sub-32% Food Cost
-New item development and Implementation
-Hiring & Training of kitchen staff and working with FOH staff to ensure proper menu knowledge
-Monthly Inventory to be completed by the 1st of each month
-Health Inspection Compliance and scores of 97 or higher
-Professional Appearance and Demeanor
-5 Shifts per week, Day and Night shifts
-Full Time: 45-50 hour average work weeks

Pay: $42,000.00 - $47,000.00 per year
