State of Beer at THE BEND is looking for hardworking, proactive, and creative line cooks to join the team. While we will highly value experience and culinary knowledge when selecting applicants, we still encourage anyone with passion and commitment to excellent service and great food to apply.

As a Line Cook, you will be an integral part in helping our company achieve its mission to gain a reputation for gastronomy, gracious and informed hospitality, and comfort which draws new and repeat customers year after year. Your primary responsibilities as a Line Cook will be:

-To prepare and assemble dishes according to recipes and specifications.
-To learn the equipment, ingredients, techniques, and procedures we use daily.
-To work effectively with a team by maintaining your station and helping others, respectfully communicating with team
members, and taking a proactive role in the kitchen’s operations.
-Clean, clean, clean. Cleaning is half the job in our kitchen as we are committed to maintaining our equipment, space,
and high standards for sanitation.
-Qualified line cook candidates should have experience with the following:

-Food preparation, saute, grill, frying, and assembling high quality dishes according to recipes and specifications.
A-ll applicants must possess the ability to adhere to strict health and sanitation procedures and ability to maintain a
professional demeanor and appearance.
-Some culinary education is highly desirable but not necessary, ServSafe certification is a plus.
-Supervisor or Leadership experience is a plus!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
